The Mound is near the road Anykščiai-Troškūnai. The way from the road to the mound will be shown by indicators. The mound of Palatavis is special. It was found only in 1997, but written sources mentioned it already back in the late 14th century as borchwal, nomine Lettow – the hillfort called Lettow. Germans wrote its name in the same way as they did the name of Lithuania. Near the mound flows Latava river.
