The modern infrastructure of the water track of Šventoji River gives a chance to organise the types of leisure: active, passive, health, historical and cultural tourism.
There are 20 docks near the campsites, the famous objects and the distance between them is shown in the direction. There are gazebos in the campsites, fire places and toilets. The track is not long, so you can finish it in one day, but we suggest you to travel for two days, because there are so many things to do and see around!
Let's start the trip at the bridge of Andrioniškis. Going down the stroke towards the town (10 km.) you will have a chance to admire the beautiful scenery of Šventoji river. When you reach the town, you will stop at the dam.
ATTENTON: You must stop at the dam and carry the cayaks. You cannot go through the dam.
Before going any further you can take a rest and visit some cultural objects in Anykščiai: the museum of A. Baranauskas and A. Vienuolis-Žukauskas, the highest church in Lithuania - st. Matthew's evangelist Church (there is a viewpoint in the right tower, 33 m. high), etc.
When you get over the dam, travel further down the river. You will have a chance to see: Puntukas Stone, the Brother of Puntukas, Vetygala and Daumantai Exposures, the Queen's Quagmire, the Treetop Walking Path, etc.
To stay for the night we suggest the "3 kilometras" campsite.
The end of the route - The Dam of Kavarskas ( 14 km away from the campsite).
The length of the track is 30 km.
